Our Simply Cares Initiative
At Simply Group, we care about strengthening the communities we live and work in. Our Simply Cares mandate is to ensure we are contributing to the health and sustainability of these communities and their people by contributing to various programs and events. Some of our previous initiatives have included supporting youth at risk, providing relief for those less fortunate, educating our neighbours on green energy solutions, and leading the way to reducing the carbon footprint in our communities.

Our 2022 Simply Cares Spotlight
As part of our 2022 holiday tradition of giving back, we filled an entire office in our Toronto headquarters with non-perishable food, toys, and clothing donations. Our team then set out to personally deliver the items to the Daily Bread Food Bank, Salvation Army and CTV’s Toy Mountain, the Toronto Fire Fighters Toy Drive, and the Yonge Street Mission. We also raised nearly $800 in donations and split the funds between the non-profit organizations.
Some of Our
Previous Initiatives
Thanksgiving Food Drive
For Thanksgiving, the team at Simply Group shares their good fortune with others by gathering food and personal care items to donate to local charities, such as the Georgetown Bread Basket, a local community shelter.
New Year’s Donation for United Way
In 2019, the Simply Group team hosted a warm winter clothing drive to help those in need during the cold weather. The generous packages were personally delivered packages to two different community shelters in Toronto: Good Shepherd Ministries and the Adelaide Resource Centre for Women.
New Year’s Donation for United Way
In 2018, Simply Group partnered with the United Way, a non-profit organization that works to build stronger communities through education, strengthening financial stability, and making communities healthier. To kick the new year off on a positive note, $50 of every sale made in January 2018 was donated to the Halton and Hamilton chapter of the United Way.
Cabbagetown Youth Centre and Boxing Club Donation
In January 2020, Lawrence Krimker (CEO of Simply Group) and Joseph Krimker (Simply Group’s co-founder and Executive Vice President of Strategic Partnerships and Business Development) personally donated funds to the Cabbagetown Youth Centre and Boxing Club in Toronto. This donation significantly contributed toward the centre being able to keep their doors open and their staff employed after the provincial government made cuts to their funding in December 2019.
